The community of Alamogordo knows Rosa Miranda for her huge smile, outgoing demeanor and fantastic arts and crafts she showcases at Mia’s Collectibles and Roadrunner Emporium on Alamogordo’s Main Street New York Avenue.
Rosa was surprised last night with a very special birthday celebration sprung upon her by her daughters showcasing live music, great food and smiles all around.
Hosted in the private party room at D.H. Les on es Winery and Bistro was a very elegant affair for Alamogordo. Over 40 local dignitaries and business owners along with friends and family from around the country came in to celebrate Rosa and her 80 years of joy she brings to those around her.
Rosa will be on hand for the Alamogordo Main Street Christmas events this Saturday at Roadrunner Emporium. Drop by see here creative artistic works and of course wish her a very happy birthday!

The city should quit spending money on finding an outside manager and just promote Dr. Hernandez to the city manager position
