March 3, 2026 — Ajinomoto Foods North America, Inc. has significantly expanded its previous February recall, now pulling approximately 36,987,575 pounds of frozen chicken and pork products from retail shelves nationwide. The U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS) announced that the expansion follows reports of glass contamination found in various ready-to-eat and not-ready-to-eat meals.
The contaminated items were distributed under popular brand names, including Trader Joe’s, Kroger, Ling Ling, Tai Pei, and Ajinomoto.
