Boys Basketball results include Boys Alamogordo defeating Mayfield 63-55 at the Poe Corn Tournament. Jaedyn Hernandez led the Tigers with 15 points, Ethan Grinder had 14, Marcus Bryant Jr. with 11 and Julian Favela with 8.
The Tigers improved their record to 4-5 and will next host Espanola Valley on Thursday at 7 PM.
Cuba defeatef Mescalero Apache 59-40 at the Striking Eagle Native American Invitational. Davin Davis led the Chiefs with 12 points and Nicholas Yuzos had 6.
East Mountain defeated Mescalero Apache 57-29 at the Striking Eagle Native American Invitational. The Chiefs drop to 3-10, next host Eunice on Friday.
Girls Basketball - Dexter defeated Mescalero Apache 46-45 at the Striking Eagle Native American Invitational.
Then in Girls Basketball Mescalero Apache defeated Bosque 60-40 at the Striking Eagle Native American Invitational. Bridgette Blake and Molly Pena led the Lady Chiefs with 12 points each, K-Rae Chino had 10 and Stephie Prins with 8.
The Lady Chiefs improve their performance to 9-3 and will play Ramah or Alamo Navajo on Saturday 5:30 PM.
Girls Basketball -El Dorado (TX) defeatef Alamogordo 37-28 at the Hobbs Holiday Tournament. Madi Flores led the Lady Tigers with 14 points and Addyson Gonzalez had 8. The Lady Tigers now 1-11, will next host Deming on January 7th.
