Tuesday High School Sports Roundup: Alamogordo, Cloudcroft & Tularosa Boys Basketball Wins!!!

Boys Basketball Roundup for games 4/13/2021...

Alamogordo amassed a huge defeat of Gadsden 85-36. Scott Mullin led the Tigers with 30 points, Harlon Gilbert with 22 and Ivan Bernal had 19. The Tiger Boys are now 5 wins and 1 loss and  will play at Centennial on Saturday.

Cloudcroft defeated Capitan 51-41. Elijah Gutierrez led the Bears with 22 points and Keygan Adams had 13 points for the night. The Bears are now 2 wins and 2 loses for the season. The Cloudcroft Bears will host Tularosa on Thursday.

Tularosa defeated Lordsburg 64-36. Travis Henderson led the Wildcats with 22 points, Colton Gilliland had 13 and Donathan Coates had 10 points to close the game.The Tularosa Wildcats remain undefeated at 3-0. Wednesday will make for an interesting game as they play the undefeated Mescalero Apache team.

The Girls Regional Basketball Roundup for games 4/13/2021...

The Alamogordo Lady Tigers defeated Gadsden 42-36. Abby Vasquez again led the Lady Tigers with 13 points and Carleigh Carroll had 8. The Lady Tigers now stand at 2 wins and 4 losses. They will host Centennial on Saturday.

Capitan defeated the Cloudcroft Girls in a competitive game with a score of 37-33 Tuesday evening. Tylie Eamello led the Lady Bears with 15 points and Kaylee Hickman had 8.  The Lady Bears drop to 3 wins and 2 losses. The Cloudcroft Lady Bears will host Tularosa on Thursday.

Lordsburg defeated Tularosa Girls with a score of 68-42. Hailey Duran led the Lady Cats with 27 points and Haylee Hill had 10. The Lady Cats drop to 0 wins and 3 losses for the season. They will play at undefeated Mescalero on Wednesday.
