Volleyball -
Cloudcroft won two matches at Mountain Top Tournament in Cloudcroft. The Lady Bears improved to 3-4, they defeated Carrizozo in straight sets (25-8, 25-10, 25-14)
- defeated Hatch Valley in straight sets (25-16, 25-19, 25-21)
The Cloudcroft Volleyball Girls then defeated Lordsburg in straight sets (25-22, 25-16, 25-23) to win the Mountain Top Tournament. The Lady Bears improve their record to 4-4 and next host Tatum on Thursday.
Carlsbad Volleyball Girls defeated Alamogordo in 4 sets at the Zia Classic Tournament in Roswell. The Lady Tigers drop to 1-7 and next play at Roswell High on Tuesday.
Volleyball - Goddard defeated Alamogordo in straight sets (25-15, 25-20, 25-18) at the Zia Classic Tournament in Roswell.
Volleyball - Mescalero Apache defeated Alamo Navajo in 4 sets (19-25, 25-23, 26-24, 25-21). The Lady Chiefs improve to 2-7, next play at NMMI on Tuesday.
Boys Soccer - Alamogordo defeated Ruidoso 5-0. Leo Rick and Ryan Amberson each score twice, Kyle Tamayo also scored.
Rick with two assists, Tayton Curran and Jaxon Byars also with an assist. Clean sheet for Noah Mirabal. The Tigers improve to 4-3, next play at Deming on Thursday.
Girls Soccer - Alamogordo defeated Valencia 3-0. Olivia Morris scores twice, Mila Stevens also scores. Zoey Spataro had 2 assists, Aubrey Allen with an assist, Madison Gigler with a clean sheet in goal.
The Lady Tigers improve to 7-1 and next play at Roswell on Thursday.
