Shooting in Village of Tularosa

Mayor Deborah Lynn Cooksey confirmed to AlamogordoTownNews.com on  KALHRadio.org with Anthony Lucero that the Otero County Sheriff’s Department and the New Mexico State Police are investigating a shooting that occurred at the truck stop in Tularosa on Friday. 

Unconfirmed Social media reports claim it was a road rage incident between a truck driver and a Black car per a photo by Vanessa Castillo 

The Otero county sheriff’s department confirmed an investigation and a shooting occurred but declined further comment as it is is ongoing investigation. When an official statement with further details is released we will forward to our readers and listeners…
