Eve West Bessier is Poet Laureate of Silver City, New Mexico. She is an award-winning author of poetry, fiction, and non-fiction, and a Poet Laureate Emerita of Davis, California. She holds a Master of Education from the University of California, Davis and a Bachelor of Arts in English from San Francisco State University. Eve is a social scientist, studio musician, jazz vocalist and voice coach, visual artist, and a nature enthusiast.
