Little Shop of Horrors Hits the Flickinger Stage This October

Alamogordo Music Theatre has officially launched its fall production of Little Shop of Horrors, and the excitement is blooming—literally. With billboards now up across town and tickets officially on sale, the beloved horror-comedy musical is set to take center stage at the Flickinger Center for Performing Arts beginning Friday, October 17.

This cult classic, featuring music by Alan Menken and lyrics by Howard Ashman, tells the story of Seymour Krelborn, a meek flower shop assistant who discovers a mysterious plant with a taste for blood. As the plant—Audrey II—grows, so does Seymour’s fame, fortune, and moral dilemma. The show blends dark humor, catchy doo-wop tunes, and outrageous twists, making it a favorite for audiences of all ages.

Directed by Matt Wade, the Alamogordo cast features a dynamic lineup of local talent:

• Seymour – Bradley Oliver

• Audrey – Jordynn Marelich

• Mushnik – Pary Bennett

• Orin (the Dentist) – Gabe Mauger

• Audrey II (voice) – Stephen Pettigrew

• The Street Trio – Azalia Garcia (Chiffon), Ardrianna Sharp (Crystal), Rosemary Daffern (Ronnette)

• Ensemble – Everette Brown, Christopher Medina, Madison Miller, Tim Wolfson, Jenna Weightman, Allison La Corte

Performances will run October 17, 18, 24, 25 at 7:00 p.m., with a matinee on Sunday, October 19 at 2:00 p.m. All seating is general admission, so early arrival is encouraged.
