Save the Date 4th of July Drone Show and Parade Alamogordo

The Alamogordo community will celebrate the 4th of July with a Drone Show Friday, July 4, 2025 at 9:15 pm at New Mexico Museum of Space History

Join the City of Alamogordo, Burt Broadcasting, Inc., New Mexico Museum of Space History, and the International Space Hall of Fame Foundation for the 4th of July Drone Show on Friday, July 4, 2025! The drone show begins at 9:15 PM. Look to the intersection of Indian Wells Road and Scenic Drive for the best view of the presentation!

For tailgating at the New Mexico Museum of Space History, please visit the gift shop inside the museum, or visit the International Space Hall of Fame Foundation web page to become a member and for more information.

Speaking of the 4th of July preparations are underway for the 4th of July Parade in Alamogordo.  Come celebrate 4th of July

Looking at the city's website, I don't see anything about 4th of July fireworks, so it looks like this is meant to replace the usual fireworks show.

While the show might look cool for those that can actually get close enough to see it, I doubt that it will even come close to the excitement, pride, and patriotism that a fireworks show engenders.
Maybe if they launched the fireworks at the drones?
