Otero Arts will feature the artwork of Deborah Wenzel of Ruidoso at the Artspace opening on Thursday June 5th from 5-7at the Otero Artspace, 1118 Indiana Avenue. Wenzel, a graphic designer, artist and teacher in Ruidoso Public schools retired early from teaching due to vision loss. She suffers from Retinitis Pigmentosa, a progressive genetic disorder that causes loss of peripheral vision, dim light blindness and visual snow. Despite this handicap she still is able to paint as she has a little remaining central vision.
Wenzel’s artwork is full of color, shapes and animals. One would not think she had a visual handicap. Her training as a graphic designer comes through in her compositions and color palette. Her show, “Seeing Differently” is open Thursdays through Sundays 1-4 at the Otero Artspace, 1118 Indiana Avenue and 12th streets in Alamogordo. The show closes Saturday June 28th.

Now, with the mud slinging on social media by relatives of Sheriff Black it’s time for regime change. Maybe a qualified, experienced law enforcement leader who is also a veteran is what is needed.
Sunny, with a high of 94 and low of 65 degrees. Sunny for the morning, clear overnight.

i'm not sure if other observers have noticed this - but, from here in the cheap seats, it seems to me there is considerable similarity between two recent legal conflicts here-abouts.
