Tigers to Celebrate Graduation at Bob Sepulveda Tiger Stadium Friday at 7 p.m.

Alamogordo, NM – The Alamogordo High School Class of 2026 will take center stage tonight as the community gathers to cheer on the Tigers at their long-awaited graduation ceremony.

The Class of 2026 commencement will be held at Bob Sepulveda Tiger Stadium (103 Cuba Ave) with gates opening at 5:00 p.m. and the formal program beginning promptly at 7:00 p.m. this Friday evening.

This year’s graduating class includes 341 seniors who have left their mark on AHS with impressive achievements:

• 10 students earning Associate Degrees from NMSU-A

• 126 Dual Credit students

• 130 Golden “A” Scholars

• 50 National Honor Society members

• $300,000 in community scholarships awarded

• 206 graduates with CTE credentials

• 382 total certifications and credentials earned

• 10 recipients of the Seal of Bilingualism

• 3 signed athletes heading to the next level

Josiah Chambers has been selected as Valedictorian, while Christian Roshio will deliver the Salutatorian address.

Families and supporters are encouraged to arrive early. Free shuttle service will run from the Riner Steinhoff Soccer Complex to Bob Sepulveda Tiger Stadium between 5:30 p.m. and 9:00 p.m. Those unable to attend in person can watch the live stream on the Alamogordo Public Schools YouTube channel.

School officials ask all guests to remain for the full ceremony as a sign of respect for the graduates. Seniors are reminded that personal items such as cell phones and electronic devices are not permitted during lineup.

After four years of hard work, challenges, and growth, tonight marks the final time these Tigers will take the field together as Alamogordo High School students. The evening promises to be a memorable celebration of their accomplishments and bright futures ahead.
