The Big Bang STEM EXPO is slated for Saturday, June 28, 2025, from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm at the Tays Special Event Center on the campus of NMSU-A.
Join the International Space Hall of Fame Foundation (ISHFF) as we celebrate the best STEM programs in southern New Mexico! We are looking for the area’s best STEM related minds-on, hands-on demonstrations and displays for this family friendly, free event. Registration for exhibitors and vendors is now open.
STEM based exhibitors and a limited number of food vendors are encouraged to sign up for the event here: BIG BANG EXHIBITOR REGISTRATION
Booth space is free. Commercial activity, other than food vendors, is prohibited. STEM exhibitors must provide a free minds-on, hands-on activity or related demonstration. For more information, email events@spacehalloffame.org.
Museum of Space History and Space Hall of Fame educators will be offering four classes for local students. Museum educators will have two classes, Build a Kaleidoscope for students in kindergarten to 3rd grade beginning at 10:00 am, and Build a Telescope for students in grades 4-8 starting at noon. Space Hall of Fame educators will hold two classes for students of all ages. The 10:00 am class will feature Building Your Own Speaker, Ice Cream in a Bag, and Building a lava lamp. At noon, students will Build a Solar Oven, Make Bubble Rockets, and Take the Lego Excavation Challenge

The Big Bang STEM EXPO will take place Saturday, June 28, from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm at the Tays Special Event Center on the campus of NMSU-A. STEM activities will be ongoing throughout the day with hands on activities from NMSU-A, the New Mexico Museum of Space History, and other organizations. Admission is free for this family friendly event.

The International Space Hall of Fame Foundation (ISHFF) is a 501(c)3, non-profit corporation whose purpose is to receive and administer funds for scientific, educational, and charitable purposes including providing philanthropic support to the New Mexico Museum of Space History and its programs. As part of its ongoing commitment to the community, the ISHFF constantly seeks new avenues to fulfill its purpose such as becoming the program administrator for STARBASE Holloman.
