Alamogordo High School Athletics selects Kade Kiss of Tiger Baseball the 3/7/25 Tiger Athlete of the Week. The Athlete of the week is hosted by 101.9 FM and 1230 AM and by sponsored by Tularosa Basin Telephone Company/Tularosa Communications, Inc. and The Winners' Circle and featured on AlamogordoTownNews.org and Alamogordo Conservative Daily on Newsbreak.

Baseball action shows the Alamogordo Tigers continue their role and defeated Valencia 6 to 4. The Tigers continue their path of wins with a record now of to 4 wins and zero losses. The Tiger boys will host New Mexico Military Institute on Saturday at 4 PM.

In girls basketball state tournament action No. 11 Mescalero Apache defeated No. 6 Texico 49 to 44 in the 2A State Tournament.
Laurdis Sundayman led the Lady Chiefs with 16 points, K-Rae Chino had 10, Skyla Enjady with 8 and Bridgette Blake had 7.
The Lady Chiefs advance to 2A Quarters, will play No. 3 Pecos or No. 14 Jal on Tuesday at 8 AM at the Rio Rancho Events Center.
In Girls Basketball State 3A action No. 7 Newcomb defeated No. 10 Tularosa 53-47 in state tournament play.
