ALAMOGORDO — Candidates in contested races will meet voters face to face Tuesday, Oct. 6, at the next Voices of Alamogordo community forum. The forum begins at 6 p.m. at Otero Arts, 1118 Indiana Ave.
This month's forum is a meet and greet. Candidates in contested races have been invited to attend, giving residents a chance to talk with them directly ahead of the Nov. 3 general election.
The public is invited, and audience questions are part of the format. The moderator will, at his discretion, call on community members to ask questions of the candidates.
Organizers stress that civility and decorum are the standard at these events. Candidates and audience members alike are expected to keep the conversation respectful.
The Voices of Alamogordo community forums are hosted by Alamogordo Town News and KALH Radio. They are held the first Tuesday of every month.

He's ****, right? What do you expect from a pickle sniffer? The good news is we won't be sucked into voting for this wolf in sheep's clothing again. Neither with his ****-ex. Both are pure sinners of man-lust.
Not sure what those ****'s mean but your homophobia is showing.
I'm certainly no fan of Block or his ex boyfriend but I take offense at your characterizations of their lives. Please keep your bigotry to yourself and try to focus on the issues of his lack of representation for his district.
Who cares *** you think about fagsissies? Your moral diarrhea needs medicine because it's not cool to be a gayblade.
Sunny, with a high of 75 and low of 59 degrees. Sunny for the morning, clear in the afternoon and evening,
Writing up the incompetence is transparency. Here's how a real professional does it --
I applied for a water job three months ago, and as I was leaving the building, some lady walking next to me said: "You'll never get in because you're not one of them Alamo-Gorditas." I thought everyone in City Hall is 50 pounds overweight, has a terrible haircut, and wears awfully dirty old clothes.
