Boys Basketball - Alamogordo defeated Deming 59-36. Marcus Bryant Jr. and Jaedyn Hernandez each had 11 points to lead the Tigers, Ethan Grinder had 10 and Isiah Richards with 8. The Tigers improved to 7-6 their Thursday game was weather delayed.
Boys Basketball - Cloudcroft defeated Academia Juarez 61-52 at the Lordsburg Tournament. The Bears improved their record to 6-5 and will play 2nd game at Lordsburg Tournament on Friday, opponent to be determined.
Boys Basketball -Tularosa defeated Santa Fe Prep 68-57 at the Santa Fe Indian School Tournament. Seth Kazhe led the Wildcats with 15 points, Eluciano Gonzales had 12, Zaine Hodges and Jacoby Apachito each had 11. Tularosa improved their game to 8-2 and will play winner of Mesa Vista-Sandia Prep on Friday.
Girls Basketball - Tularosa defeated Hagerman 51-17. Emma Ostic led the Lady Cats with 13 points, Haleigh Voorbach had 12 and Jaleria Caje with 9. The Lady Cats improve to 3-9.
Girls Basketball - Deming defeated Alamogordo 54-31. Teeya Gordon led the Lady Tigers with 14 points and Madi Flores had 7. The Lady Tigers drop to 1-12.
Girls Basketball - Ruidoso defeated Mescalero Apache 65-35. The Lady Chiefs drop to 11-5 and next play at Eunice January 13th.
