Wrestling - Alamogordo Girls finished 22nd at Region 2 Championships at Cobre High School.

Alysa Hinds (185 lbs) and Maliah Pattinson (235 lbs) both qualified for the State Meet on February 23rd and 24th in Rio Rancho.

Boys Basketball - Alamogordo Tigers defeated Centennial 53 to 48. Damiran Smith and Kai Bickham each had 14 points to lead the Tigers, Jason Warren had 13.
The Tigers improved their record to 14 and 8, 4 and 2 the in district. They next play at Organ Mountain on Tuesday.

Boys Basketball - Tularosa High defeated Lordsburg 65 to 30. Estevan Barraza and Dillon Salazar each had 13 points to lead the Wildcats, Zaine Hodges had 11 and Braydan Tortalita with 10. The Wildcats improved to 17-4, and an undefeated 4-0 in district. They next host Cloudcroft on Tuesday.

Boys Basketball - Cloudcroft defeated Capitan 49 to 39. Dominic Cuilla led the Bears with 18 points, Hoyt Condito and Jacob Dodson each had 10 and Dominic Romero with 8. The Bears improved their record to 6-11 and 1-2 in district. They next play at Mescalero Apache on Saturday.

Girls Basketball - Alamogordo defeated Centennial 39 to 34. Abby Vazquez led the Lady Tigers with 12 points, Teeya Gordon had 11 points and 8 rebounds and Mya Fox had 6 points. The Lady Tigers improve their record to 12-10 and a split of 3-3 in district they next host Organ Mountain on Tuesday.

Girls Basketball Tularosa defeated Lordsburg 59 to 35. Maycee Griffin led the Lady Cats with 15 points, RayAnn Chavez had 13, Aaralyn Stephens and Nevaeh Apachito each had 12. The Lady Cats improve to 16-6 and an undefeated 4-0 in district. They next host Cloudcroft on Tuesday.

Girls Basketball -Capitan defeated Cloudcroft 31 to 15. The Lady Bears drop to 5-15, 0-3 in the district. They next play at Mescalero Apache on Saturday.
