Alamogordo Sports Roundup Tulsarosa 2nd in State 2A Volleyball And more

State Volleyball Tournament results included 3 days ago and progressing number 1 Cloudcroft defeated number 9 Estancia in straight sets (25-21, 25-19, 25-20) at the 2A State Tournament.
The Lady Bears advanced to play winner of No. 4 Laguna Acoma and No. 5 Hagerman, at Rio Rancho High School.

No. 3 Tularosa defeated No. 11 Tatum in 4 sets (23-25, 25-19, 25-18, 25-17) in the 2A State Tournament. The Lady Cats advanced to play winner of No. 2 Texico and No. 7 Menaul, at Rio Rancho High School.

No. 1 Cloudcroft the. defeated No. 4 Laguna Acoma in straight sets (25-11, 25-18, 26-24) in 2A State Tournament. The Lady Bears advanced to 2A Semifinals, to then play Saturday at the Rio Rancho Events Center.

No. 2 Texico defeated No. 3 Tularosa in straight sets (30-28, 25-17, 25-17) in the 2A State Tournament. The Lady Cats next played Friday at 6 PM at Rio Rancho HS.

No. 3 Tularosa the. defeated No. 5 Hagerman in straight sets (25-14, 25-20, 25-17) in 2A State Tournament. The Lady Cats advanced to 2A Semifinals, to face No. 1 Cloudcroft at the Rio Rancho Events Center.

In a surprise upset Volleyball No. 3 Tularosa defeated No. 1 Cloudcroft in striaght sets (25-21, 27-25, 25-19) in the 2A Semifinals. The Lady Cats advanced to Class 2A State Championship.

Swimming - Alamogordo Boys finished 4th and the Girls 5th at Saturday’s Lovington Wildcat Invite. Both teams next compete at Hobbs Eagle Invite on December 2nd.
