The First Fridays of each month the downtown Cultural Arts and History District comes alive - all stores are open till 8 pm with specials and great music and the new exhibition opens each month at Otero Arts.

At 3 pm check out the new and remodeled building of Enchanted Sun Realty. Come check out the grand opening of Enchanted Sun Realty of Alamogordo! They will have food, drinks & giveaways! A ribbon cutting, live music and more.

At 5 pm drop by 1118 Indiana at the Otero Arts building see the history of the historic Womens Club built in 1936 then enjoy the free artist reception for the exhibition of Nancy Aprill and Laurie Baker. Join to meet the artist see the art on display then travel down to New York Avenue for Downtown Nights. All stores are open till 8 pm. Food trucks outside and specials at each business.

November 4th and 5th is the huge open house of Christmas for Victoria 913. Alice Weinman and her family has transitioned Victoria into a Christmas Winter Wonderland. According to Ms Alice; “It is time once again for our Christmas Open House! This Friday and Saturday. We will be open Friday from 10 am to 8 pm and Saturday from 10 am to 4 pm. Come in and see all of our traditional and unique nativities. 15% off sale storewide, our only sale of the season. Looking forward to seeing y'all this weekend with Jesus in our hearts and glitter in our veins! 

Next Door Pins and Needles Don’t forget their open house this Friday and Saturday stop by there will be select fabrics on sale as well as balloons to pop for discounts on regular priced items - Downtown nights this Friday so we’ll be open until 8:00pm. - Bob’s Sew and Vac will be onsite with long arm machines as well as some sit down machines - they will be giving demonstrations on all machines available for sale.

Then come on down to Roadrunner Emporium and see the new artisan editions added to the portfolio to include the oil paintings of Jeff Griggs and see the print of the painting of George Bush that hangs in the White House by this legendary local artist. Enjoy the live musical talents of Sage Gentlewing at 6 pm and meet his delightful wife and see her artisan lamps on display.

Lots to do and for free in Downtown Alamogordo from the Otero Arts reception to shopping at Mia’s Collectibles, the Local Bodega, Victoria 913, Pins and Needles, MoniCakes, the GloBug, and new offerings and live Music at Roadrunner Emporium Friday night till 8 pm it’s happening come on downtown!
