On June 2, the 49th Wing is hosting the Legacy of Liberty Airshow 2024. This free one-day event will be open to the public and will showcase the mission and capabilities of the U.S. Air Force and Holloman Air Force Base.  

There will be a variety of aircraft on static display and exciting aerobatic performances. The airshow will also have food, music, and a variety of activities for the whole family including a kid zone and a Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM) area. 

The schedule of aerial performers, vendors and static displays is still being finalized and will be released in the future. The airshow is free and open to the public. The highlight of the event will be a performance by the U.S. Air Force Air Demonstration Squadron “Thunderbirds.”

April 1 will be the last day to sign up to be a Food or STEM vendorHolloman AFB is looking for businesses or organizations that work in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics to be vendors at the Legacy of Liberty Airshow June 2. 

This will be a great opportunity to exhibit your STEM products and ideas to the community.  Holloman AFB is also looking for food vendors/trucks to participate in the Legacy of Liberty Airshow. 

With a crowd of thousands expected, Holloman is looking for a variety of trucks to provide food and beverages. 

There will be an opportunity to serve the crowd on Saturday, June 1 during the airshow rehearsal that will be open to all Department of Defense ID cardholders.All updated information will be posted to the 49th Wing - Holloman AFB website at https://www.holloman.af.mil/ or Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/HollomanAirForceBase/.
