John DiRisio passed away September 3, 2026 in Alamogordo,NM. He was born in Fairport, N.Y. December 2, 1925. He was the youngest of 10 children. He was reminiscing about his family two days before he passed.
He retired from Dyne Corp. after 30 yrs. He served in World War II in the U.S. Merchant Marines and the US Army.
He was married to Floy Floread DiRisio for over 60 years. After he retired they traveled to every State and belonged to Good Sam’s Club. He loved dancing and bowling with Floy.
John was the father of 3 children, Robert Perry, (deceased) daughter-in -law Linda (deceased), Gary Perry and his wife Audrey Perry, lives in Ruidoso, N M. John, who lives in Peru , South America. Although John did not father Robert or Gary he considered them as his sons. He also had 3 grandchildren, Darren Perry(deceased), Jerrett Perry and his wife Michelle Perry, Alamogordo and April Bright, Dallas, Texas. John had 3 great grandsons, and 2 great granddaughters.
He will be interred at the Piñon, N M cemetery on 9-22-2026 at 11:00. There will be a graveside service with John Bell officiating.
In lieu of flowers, he requested donations be made a local food bank.
