In Loving Memory of Mary L Morgan “Granny”

Sunrise: July 1, 1927 - Sunset: March 25, 2026
With hearts full of love and gratitude, we celebrate the life of Mary Louise (Watters) Morgan, a woman whose kindness, strength, and unwavering devotion touched every soul she met.

Born in Santa Barbara, California, she grew into a woman of grace and fierce determination. She poured her heart into her family, creating a home filled with warmth, laughter, and the comforting scent of her favorite recipes. Her hands were never still-whether baking fresh bread or cookies, mending a torn sleeve, or sewing clothes for each member of the family. Her hands were always busy crocheting, quilting, cross stitching, painting, as well as many other crafts.

She taught us that love is not just spoken but shown in the meals she cooked, the sacrifices she made without hesitation. Her love for her husband, Bill, of 66 years, her daughters, and extended family was unending. She was first a homemaker but also worked as a riveter in World War II, a florist at The Flower Mart, clerk at Acme cleaners, a lecturer for Weight Watchers, and manager of Oasis Trailer Park. Her wisdom guided us through life’s storms with the steady light of love and compassion.

Mary “Granny” leaves behind a legacy of love in her children, Mary P. Morgan, and Rebecca S. May and husband Donnie; her grandchildren, Paula Cox and husband, Charles, Katie Powell and husband, Clete, and Jennie Guthrie, Dawna Romine and husband, Bill, Charlee Boroski and wife, Misty, and Michelle Boroski; and 12 Great-grandchildren; and 9 Great-great-grandchildren, Neice Floy Warden, Nephews Clint Morgan and wife, Wennie, Tim Watters and wife, Toni, and Jeff Watters and all who were blessed to know her.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Bill Morgan; daughter, Debbie Borosk; grandson, Billie May; great-grandson Jacob Blackburn.

Though our hearts ache in her absence, we find comfort in knowing her spirit lives on in the kindness we share and the memories we hold dear.

A celebration of her life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Alzheimer’s or cancer research or Dog rescue, a cause close to her heart.
Rest gently, dearest Mother. Your love will forever be our guiding star.
