ALAMOGORDO — The Alamogordo Tigers’ offense never found its footing this weekend on the road as Organ Mountain rolled to a 27-0 shutout victory, handing the Tigers their second straight loss and dropping them to 1-2 on the season.

The Knights struck first midway through the opening quarter when Enrique Ramirez connected with Michael McGill on a 25-yard touchdown pass. The extra point was good, and Organ Mountain carried a 7-0 lead into the second quarter.

Romeo Jones extended the advantage with a 9-yard touchdown run with 3:31 remaining in the first half. Though the extra point was blocked, the Knights took a 13-0 lead into the locker room at halftime.

Alamogordo’s hopes of a second-half comeback faded quickly. Jaden Gonzalez broke free for a 26-yard touchdown run with 6:07 left in the third quarter, pushing the lead to 19-0 after a failed two-point conversion.

Jones put the game out of reach in the fourth quarter, punching in his second score of the night on a 4-yard run with 5:57 to play. Kraft converted the two-point attempt to set the final margin at 27-0.

The shutout loss leaves the Tigers searching for answers on offense after failing to reach the end zone all night with several reported injuries as well. Alamogordo will look to bounce back when it hosts Roswell on Friday.
