Congratulations to Alamogordo Tiger Baseball Standout Jaxson Cole on Signing with Ottawa University Arizona!

Alamogordo, NM — Alamogordo High School and the Tiger Baseball program are celebrating another outstanding student-athlete as senior Jaxson Cole has officially signed his National Letter of Intent to continue his baseball career at Ottawa University Arizona (OUAZ) in Surprise, Arizona.

Cole, a dedicated two-year varsity letterman for the Tigers, has been a reliable contributor both on the mound and in the field throughout his high school career. His commitment marks another success story for the Alamogordo baseball program, which continues to produce collegiate talent in unity with the Tiger Team.

A Well-Earned Opportunity

Jaxson Cole’s journey with Tiger Baseball showcased consistent improvement, strong work ethic, and team-first mentality. As a varsity player for two seasons, he contributed in key moments — whether on bases, delivering clutch at-bats, or making plays in the field. His selection to Ottawa University Arizona highlights not only his athletic ability but also his academic achievements as a standout student-athlete.

Ottawa University Arizona competes in the NAIA as a member of the Golden State Athletic Conference (GSAC). The Spirit baseball program plays its home games in the Surprise, Arizona area and has built a competitive reputation with a focus on player development in the sunny Southwest climate — an ideal fit for a New Mexico native.
