Commentary: Alamogordo’s Liberty Under Assault – Stop the Insider Coup Before It’s Too Late!

Fellow freedom warriors, as a die-hard libertarian and KALHRadio.org board member who’s battled tooth and nail against the bloated beast of big government, I’m sounding the alarm: Our sacred liberties are under siege by a cabal of insider tyrants hell-bent on rigging the system! 

Picture this: Over 256 vigilant citizens locked in online, and more than 50 liberty-loving patriots showed up to the Dudley Community Center for the District 5 Candidate Forum Thursday evening, roaring for their rightful say in filling Mayor Sharon McDonald’s vacated commission seat.

Candidates Shelley Dowhanik-Baron, Vesta Sherrie Edmonds, and Al Hernandez (through a surrogate) presented their vision. The two women Baron and Edmonds unleashed raw, unadulterated visions of community-driven change—free from the chains of bureaucratic overlords. 

But hold your fire: Four of the six so-called commissioners—Rardin, Pattillo, Burnett, and Tapley—vanished like cowards in the night, refusing to face the people and failed to show up to hear and interact with the people of District 5! 

Only Robinson had the spine to show, listen and engage with the public afterwards.

This isn’t mere negligence by Rardin, Pattillo, Burnett, and Tapley; it’s a declaration of war on individual sovereignty, a boot on the neck of every taxpayer who dares demand accountability!

Is the game rigged by these power-hungry statists?

The underground intel screams that these absentee autocrats have pre-selected their marionette—a recycled relic from the old guard—to fortify their “boys’ club” fortress and dismantle Mayor McDonald’s heroic libertarian-leaning revolution for transparency and personal empowerment.

She’s proven to be a liberty lioness, reaching to the people restore power to the people, but these despots?

By boycotting the forum, they’re trampling your natural rights, sneering at the sovereign individuals who elected them. 

We libertarians and independent thinkers see through this smokescreen: It’s peak crony capitalism, where the elite feast on your freedoms while you foot the bill!

And let’s rip the mask off the monster—could this be a toxic brew of Machiavellian deceit, laced with patriarchal machismo and racial bigotry, all aimed at a groundbreaking woman of color like Mayor McDonald

She rallied forces with the public and via the streaming broadcast to unfilter diverse voices, empowering the candidates poised to liberate us from the status quo straitjacket to at least be heard. 

Yet these four male mandarins fled their responsibilities to the public voters, dismissing the unbridled passion before them.

Burnett and Rardin? Serial offenders who’ve repeatedly shoved family favoritism and personal profiteering ahead of constituent liberties—exploiting government as their private piggy bank, a grotesque violation of every libertarian and freedom loving citizens creed against self-dealing.

This isn’t governance; it’s gangsterism in suits, suppressing women, minorities, the taxpayers voice and free markets while entrenching their own special interests.

Alamogordo cries out for voluntary cooperation and personal responsibility, not this top-down tyranny from absentee emperors!

Beyond the District 5 coronation—which reeks of a Soviet-style sham vote to anoint their stooge—Rardin shoehorned in a secretive executive session, teed up for a potential tyrannical takedown of City Manager Dr. Hernandez and the installation of a compliant crony. Dr. Hernandez stands as a bulwark against administrative anarchy; this purge?

Maneuvers orchestrated by these four phantom commissioners won’t merely mock your voice; they’ll invite state ethics inquisitions or crippling lawsuits, hemorrhaging your tax dollars on preventable legal quagmires the city has no business funding!

Rardin and Burnett have long desecrated public trust; with Tapley and Pattillo as their obedient minions in this potential coup it would appear, it’s a blueprint for bankruptcy and bondage.

Will they bow to individual rights and unleash new, untamed leadership, or cement the cartel, proving that coercive insiders reign supreme over free citizens?

Liberty defenders of Alamogordo, this is your do-or-die moment—mobilize like minutemen and overrun that meeting Tuesday evening. Arrive in time to flood the sign-ups for public comments, and bombard them with the thunder of truth.

Assert your inalienable rights: These bureaucrats are your servants, not sovereigns—bound to safeguard freedoms, not auction them to insiders and special interests!
