The New York Avenue Ghost and History Tour returns this Saturday February 14th 10 am in downtown Alamogordo! Join local historian Chris Edwards and partners for an immersive walking experience that blends chilling ghost stories, rich local history from the early 1900s, stunning murals, and architectural heritage along the historic district.
This monthly event (featured in New Mexico Magazine) covers a 4-5 block radius, lasting about 3-4 hours. Highlights include:
• Spine-tingling tales of spirits like Willie the horse rustler, Maggie, Judy, and others haunting spots such as Victoria Alamogordo.
• Stops at the Tularosa Basin Museum of History for regional artifacts.
• Appreciation of artist murals and sites like Otero Arts in the historic Women’s Club building.
• A sweet treat from Infinity Sweets Bakehouse.
