The Alamogordo Police Department handled a variety of incidents during the week of December 15 to 21, 2025, with a notable focus on drug-related offenses, warrant services, DWIs, disturbances leading to violence, and property crimes. Featured are presumed innocent until proven guilty in court.



Key highlights include:
• Drug offenses → Multiple arrests for possession of controlled substances and paraphernalia, including several adults and a 13-year-old juvenile. Collaboration with the White Mountain Drug Task Force led to serious trafficking and conspiracy charges against two individuals.
• Warrant executions and failures to appear/pay → A significant portion of activity involved serving outstanding warrants from various courts (Municipal, Magistrate, Tularosa, District, and out-of-state), resulting in numerous arrests and incarcerations pending court appearances.
• Driving while intoxicated (DWI) → Several cases, with charges often accompanied by related offenses like careless driving or resisting an officer.
• Violent incidents and batteries → Notable cases included a shots-fired investigation leading to multiple felony charges (aggravated battery/assault with a deadly weapon, shooting from a vehicle, tampering with evidence). A separate fight resulted in charges for aggravated battery on a household member, conspiracy, contributing to the delinquency of a minor, harassment, criminal damage, disorderly conduct, and battery. Other batteries and domestic-related incidents involved adults and juveniles.
• Property and theft crimes → Arrests related to larceny, shoplifting, fraudulent use of a credit card, burglary reports, criminal damage to property, and trespassing.
• Other incidents → Included disorderly conduct, negligent use of a firearm, public nuisances, violation of a temporary restraining order, and unlawful use of vehicle equipment.
Juveniles were referred to probation officers in several cases involving drugs, battery, conspiracy, and runaway status.
