Law Enforcement, Fire, and EMS personnel are actively responding to an unfolding situation at both Walmart locations in Alamogordo. As a precaution, buildings and parking lots at both sites have been fully evacuated.
At this time, everyone is safe, and emergency crews are working diligently to assess and secure the scene. Authorities urge the public to avoid the area until further notice to ensure safety and allow responders to operate without obstruction.

Amazing, airport is budgeting time and expense into a project that will likely never materialize. This was attempted before. No airline or charter service would commit to Alamogordo service. The airport needs letter of commitment before spending more money.
