The Alamogordo High School Tigers Talee Westover is named Lady Tiger Tennis, 2/28/25 Tiger Athlete of the Week, hosted by 101.9 and 1230 AM which is sponsored by the Tularosa Basin Telephone Company/Tularosa Communications, Inc. and The Winners' Circle.
Boys Basketball All-District 3-5A Alamogordo High School participants include:
1st Team - Jaedyn Hernandez
2nd Team - Marcus Jordan Bryant Jr.
Honorable Mention - Julian Favela
Boys Basketball - Tularosa defeated NMMI 53 to 37 to win the District 4-3A Tournament Championship.
Estevan Barraza led the Wildcats with 12 points, Eluciano Gonzales had 11, Fabian Pacheco with 10, Joe Chavez had 9 and Jacoby Apachito with 8.
The Tularosa Wildcats finished the season at 21-6
State Tournament brackets were announced for the First Round State Basketball Tournament matchups.
For 3A the Boys 13th ranked East Mountain takes on 4th ranked Tularosa Wildcat Boys Saturday at 5 PM. In Girls Basketball action Girls number 10 Tularosa take on 7th ranked Newcomb Friday at 5 PM.
2A Girls - 10th ranked Mescalero Apache will compete at 6th ranked Texico Friday at 6 PM.
