New Video Emerges of Interview with Officer Diaz-Austin and Shooting Death of Teen in Otero County

In a shocking newly released video by EWU Body Cam concerning the death and investigation into the death of Mescalero Apache Teenager Elijah Hadley, Deputy Jacob Diaz-Austin, who is charged with murder, when asked was he fully aware of the Otero County Sheriff's Deadly Force Policy, claimed he was NOT 100% aware of the policy. Otero County Deputy Sheriff Jacob Diaz-Austin also claimed that Hadley had a "sinister look" as a part of his defense for the shooting. He claims via a leaked internal Oteto County New Mexico Sheriff's Department investigation interview that "he looked through me staring, he had this really sinister smile..."

Deputy Diaz-Austin claims a sinister smile as a threat all the while the officers lapel footage shows a teenager just walking down a datk road and blinded by the patrol car lights, then tossing a soft gun with playtic pellets on the ground as being shot multiple times...

Deputy Diaz-Austin also then went on and admitted that the teenager, Elijah Hadley "he wasn't being overly emotional, wasn't , you inow, waving his hands, he wasn't doing anything like that, he was relatively still and and calm besides just staring at me..."
