She will be onsite at Blush Beauty Bar’s annual Succulent Bar 10th and New York Avenue with fun face painting for the kids (and the fun adults!) She will also be offering fantastic temporary glitter or ink tattoos. They last anywhere from 3-10 days. Come out and see everyone on the street and find the perfect gift for Mother’s Day and get some good food and enjoy the fun.
The weather for Saturday looks nice and sunny and we are all about sweet deserts and wonderful foods we are highlighting just a few of those tasty options for Saturday’s event. That means you'll want to stop by for an ice cold treat after you've done your Succulent Bar shopping and DIYing.
Here's what the owners of Dessert First had to share as they invite you to 10th and New York Saturday from 10 am to 3 pm.
"We are a family that loves to make people smile. We started our adventure in 2017 when we bought an ice cream shop. We decided in 2018 to go mobile and moved back to our home town."
Brenda's Sweet Ideas will be on hand and vendor shared her thoughts on her offerings Saturday:
"I'm the small business owner of Brenda's Sweet Ideas. I bake and sale a variety of delicious goodies and sweets from a variety of cookies ( banana pudding cookies, twix cookies, strawberry crunch) and a variety of brownies. My chocolate brownies are a crowd pleaser…
…and then there is another unique small business that many in Alamogordo have not yet met with the cutest Southwest jazz, Velvet Desert Studio. Keep reading to hear from the business owner, "Hi! I’m Adrienne, the artist behind Velvet Desert Studio. Bringing you a variety of curated, hand-crafted, slow-made art, jewelry, and more to my local community and beyond! With dash of southwestern flair and a little fun, you’ll find unique items to adorn you and your space!"
Another unique offering to check out is to check out some yummy jams, preserves, and more from From Land To Sea. Keep reading to learn how Maggie was inspired to start her small business:
"What started as a mission to cut out Red Dye 40 (because of a severe allergy) and chemical preservatives, rapidly grew into a realization that so many people are trying to do the same! We offer dye and chemical preservative free options and made from scratch jams, jellies, and preserves. Dry mixes, freeze dried treats, and so many other goodies tie everything together for the perfect little package for all your gifting needs. We also teach self reliance and emergency preparedness in one on one or small group settings."
This venture is offering chemical and preservative free treats which is very unique to Alamogordo.
Make sure you stop by to say hello to all the vendors on May 11, 2024 from 10-3 pm at the annual Succulent Bar Event at 10th and New York Avenue, Alamogordo. Fur babies are WELCOME as is the whole family. We will see you there…
