A newcomer has now announced her run for Governor of New Mexico snd she is getting the attention of a least a certain segment of followers and supporters. Ms. Robertson has released a video suggesting a "40 percent increase og funding to Police Departments, and a promise to return immunity removed by the legislature of the State of New Mexico Bill of Rights 4 .

The candidate joins a list of candidates seeking their party nomination and potentially competing head to head in what appears will be an interesting contest of diverse personalities seeking the New Mexico Governorship.

Declared Republican Candidates: Gregg Hull.

Potential Republican Candidates: Rebecca Dow, Yvette Herrell, Susana Martinez, Judith Nakamura, Mark Ronchetti, John Sanchez, and Duke Rodriguez.

Other Potential Candidates: Brian Cillessen (declined to state party affiliation).

Declared Democratic Candidates: Sam Bregman, Deb Haaland, and Ken Miyagishima.

Belinda Robertson had filed a federal lawsuit in Las Cruces, New Mexico against the State of New Mexico in early 2025 claiming civil rights violations. The suit was dismissed in April 2025. She maintains an Instagram profile with posts on topics such as NPC bikini wellness, Sports Model, and Personal Trainer.

On her Instagram account, there are mentions of Belinda Robertson being a Republican candidate for Governor as well as on her Facebook page.. These posts discuss the filing of an emergency petition to remove the current Governor, Michelle Lujan Grisham, and accuse the Secretary of State's office of removing Robertson as a candidate?

The Secretary of State has not yet confirmed rather the accusations are true or hyperbolic behaviors of Ms. Robertson. Stay tuned as the list of characters running for governor of New Mexico expands...

perhaps...but in the day of their orange overlord, you could put the 8 or 10 of them in a sack and shake it up, and it would make little difference which crawled out first.

I haven't seen a picture of MLG recently, I didn't know she dyed her hair orange.
Maybe you can give us a little insight into this candidate, since until recently she was a Democrat.
