The City of Alamogordo Street Maintenance Crews will prep and lay hot mix asphalt at 1806 N. Scenic Drive tomorrow, Tuesday, May 7, 2024, between the hours of 7:00 AM and 2:00 PM.
During this time, both northbound lanes of the 1800 block of N. Scenic Drive will be closed, and drivers will be detoured via a southbound lane. Please adhere to designated detour routes.
During this time, residents in the affected area will experience lane closures, various City vehicles and equipment, orange barrels, increased signage, and/or occasional flagmen. Appropriate detour signage will be erected, directing drivers to an alternate route. We ask all affected residents traveling in the area to please use extra caution for your own safety and for the safety of the city crews.
Please be assured that the crews will work diligently to complete any projects they are working on in order to return the smooth flow of traffic as soon as realistically possible.
