Alamogordo Regional HS Sports Update Baseball, Tennis and More

Alamogordo’ regional high school sports update in Golf the Mescalero Apache Boys finished 8th place at Tuesday’s Seery Invitational in Socorro.

The Chiefs will next compete on Monday & Tuesday at the Leroy Gooch Invitational in Ruidoso.

In Tennis, the Alamogordo Girls defeated Cleveland 8-1.  The  Cleveland Boys defeated  Alamogordo 8-1 at Tuesday’s Dual.

The Tiger Tennis team next hosts Centennial next Tuesday to begin district play.

Girls Singles - Eva Westover, Mackenzie Stitt, Talee Westover win straight sets, Gabrielle Santiago and Shelby Stitt win in pro set.

Girls Doubles - Evony Lopez/E. Westover, T. Westover/M. Stitt & S. Stitt/Santiago win in pro set

Boys Singles - Jaxon Spencer wins in straight sets

Softball - Alamogordo defeated Centennial 2-1.  The Lady Tigers improved their record to 10-2, 1-0 in district and they next play at Centennial on Thursday for a doubleheader. 

Baseball - Elida defeated Mescalero Apache 4-1.  The Chiefs record is now 3 and 9 they next play at Socorro on Friday for a doubleheader.

Baseball - Tularosa defeated  Hatch Valley 14-5.  The Wildcats improved to 3-4 and they next play at the Santa Rosa Tournament starting on Thursday.

Baseball - Centennial defeated Alamogordo Boys 6-4. The Tigers drop to 5-5 and 0-1 in district. They  next host Centennial on Friday  for a doubleheader. 

Powerlifting - State Qualifiers from area teams include:

State Meet will be Friday April 12th and Saturday April 13th at the Rio Rancho Events Center.
