The city of Alamogordo is turning Washington Park into an Easter festival. Join local families for a day of family fun! Easter in the Park on Saturday, March 30, 2024 from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm at Washington Park.There will be inflatables, food and craft vendors, Easter egg hunts for children, and the Easter Bunny!
City businesses like Rizo's Mexican Restaurant, SkyView2U, The Classic Desert Aire Hotel, and Amy Tillotson State Farm Insurance all donated Easter baskets to give out during the event. Kids are asked to bring an easter basket for the egg hunt.
The City of Alamogordo announced the closure of Washington Avenue on Saturday, March 30, First Street to Mountain View Avenue will close beginning at 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. The closure was announced as a result of the community event, Easter in the Park. City officials said the road closure will reduce risk to visitors, families and children attending the event.

I think Amy Bareala is more intrested in spending time taking picturs with her assualt rifles than she is doing her job. I would love to see her crack the whip on our countys code inforcement laws. I'm sick of the way the county has turned into a huge dumpster/ junkyard for all that wish to defile our county land.
