Boys Soccer - Mayfield defeated Alamogordo 3 to 0. The Tigers drop to 3 to 15, 1 and 7 in the district, the Tigers next play at Las Cruces on Tuesday.
Organ Mountain defeated Alamogordo 6 to 0. The Tiger Boys are now 3 and 14, and 1 and 6 in the district.
Girls Soccer - Mayfield defeat
Ed Alamogordo 5 to 1. Elizabeth Needham scored for the Lady Tigers, assisted by Dani Sandoval and Olivia Morris. The Lady Tigers record drops to 8 and 10 with a 1 and 7 record in district. They next host Las Cruces on Tuesday.
Volleyball - Tularosa defeated Capitan in straight sets (25-7, 25-16, 25-10).
The Lady Cats improve their record to 11 and 5, 1 and 0 in district. They next play at Mescalero Apache on Saturday.
Volleyball Artesia defeated Alamogordo in straight sets (25-11, 25-13, 25-13). the Lady Tigers now stand with a performance of 3 and 13. They next play at Las Cruces on Saturday.
Missed in a prior report Volleyball - Tularosa split their matches with Santa Rosa and Texico on Saturday.
- Tularosa defeats Santa Rosa in straight sets (25-15, 25-22, 25-15).
- Texico defeats Tularosa in five sets (25-19, 25-15, 22-25, 24-26, 15-12).
As of Saturday the Lady Cats were 10 to 5 before hosting Capitan mentioned earlier in district opener.
Cross Country missed in a prior report Mescalero Apache Girls finished 4th at Saturday’s Pecos Valley Invite in Roswell.
The Chiefs and Lady Chiefs next run at Southern New Mexico Invitational in Alamogordo on October 27th.
