Alamogordo Area Regional Sports Update Soccer, Volleyball, Cross Country, Football

Alamogordo Cross Country Competition. The Alamogordo Girls finished 4th at Saturday's Centennial Cross Country Challenge. Cloudcroft hosts their meet next Friday, Alamogordo and Mescalero Apache will also be competing at that meet.

Regional Volleyball Updates for the Alamogordo area...

Los Lunas High School defeated Alamogordo Tiger Volleyball in straight sets (25-12, 25-7, 25-15). The Lady Tigers drop to a record of 0 wins and 3 losses.,They next play at the Las Cruces Tournament on Friday & Saturday.

Cloudcroft defeated Mesilla Valley Christian in straight sets (25-23, 25-12, 25-18), finishing 1st in the Silver bracket at Hatch Valley Tournament. The Lady Bears are continue undefeated at 6 wins and 0 losses. They next host Hagerman on September 12th.

Cloudcroft defeated Socorro in straight sets (25-16, 25-7, 25-14) at the Hatch Valley Red & Green Tournament.

Regional Soccer Updated:

Silver defeated Alamogordo 6 to 0. The Tigers drop to 1 win and 3 losses. They next play Roswell at Coyote Classic on Friday. The Junior Varsity team won 3 to 1.

Alamogordo regional High School Football results from the weekend...

Mescalero Apache Football defeated Cloudcroft 42 to 0. The Chiefs records moved to to 2 wins and 1 loss. They next play at Loving on September 15th. The Bears dropped to 0 and 3, they next host the Mayfield JV on Thursday.

Alamogordo Tigers as previously reported in Homecoming defeated Gadsden 7 to 0.T The Tigers record moved to to 2 wins and 1 loss. They play at Capital next Thursday.
