Regional Sports Highlights for the Alamogordo area

Alamogordo regional sports roundup begins with Softball. Tularosa swept Capitan, winning 15-0 in Game 1 and 11-6 in Game 2. Congratulations to the Lady Cats on winning the District 3-A/2A Championship!

The Lady Cats finish regular season at 19-7, 12-0 in district undefeated!!!

A/2A State Tournament brackets will be released on Sunday on www.nmact.org.

Softball - 5A State Tournament No. 5 Alamogordo will host No. 12 Hobbs on Friday or Saturday in the 1st Round (Single Elimination) on Friday at 6 PM.

In Golf action the Mescalero Apache Boys Golf team finished 3rd at District 3-A/3A Championships at the Inn of the Mountain Gods.  A-3A State Championships are at Canyon Club GC in Albuquerque on May 8th and 9th.
