The Alamogordo High School Cheerleading squad went and completed well at the State Competition in Albuquerque last week.

The Mescalero Apache baseball team defeated Ruidoso Junior Varsity 10-9.
Game 2 of doubleheader was called off due to darkness with Ruidoso JV leading 12-9. 2nd game was no decision.
The Chiefs improved their record to 2-6-1, they next host Jal on Saturday.
The New Mexico Military Institute defeated Tularosa 14-1 at the NMMI Colt classic Classic in Roswell.
The Wildcats drop to 3-3 and next play Hatch Valley on Friday at 12:45 PM.
Girls Softball
Bernalillo defeated Tularosa 4-0 at the Kristin Griego Tournament in Rio Rancho.
The Lady Cats record now stands at 1-2, and they next play Espanola Valley on Friday at 12 PM.
The Alamogordo Tiger Girls Softball team defeated Volcano Vista 4-2 at the Kristin Griego Softball Tournament in Rio Rancho.
The Lady Tigers improve their record to 4-3 and next play Gallup at 10 AM on Friday.
