the proposed demolition of the sunspot observatory will be destructive to tourism that provides income and tax funding, both locally and statewide - unfortunately it is not in our hands to decide. to use an old english saying - closing bonito lake would be penny wise and pound foolish.
when i was a child - a long time ago - my family would camp and holiday in the ouachita/ozark national forests of western arkansas. i remember seeing these little signs in the small businesses - we like tourists because they're easier to pick than cotton.
Looks like a strike one for Stockwell. It's a good thing it not up to you. Taxpayer money went in to fixing the lake now your trying to block it's use. The state stocks the lake for our recreation. WHAT ARE YOU THINKING?
