Henry E. Garcia (My Pa, My Pop), passed peacefully surrounded by his family at home in Alamogordo on Sunday, October 18th, 2026. He was born on September 2nd, 1933 in Roswell.
He is survived by his loving wife of 65 years, Bertha Garcia. And his pride and joy, Carlos and Tina, his children. He is also survived by his sister, Frances Fierro and brother, Orlando Garcia.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Pedro and Josephine Garcia; his brothers, Roque, Richard, and David; and his sisters, Juanita and Adella.
He was a Navy Veteran who served aboard the USS St. Paul and the USS Frank E. Evans in the aftermath of the Korean conflict.
He was a man of few words, a funny guy, and his heart was full of love for his friends and family!
Rosary to be done at Scenic Chapel Tuesday, October 27th from 6 to 7 pm.
Mass of Christian burial will be at St Jude Parish on November 3rd at 11 am.
