FRIDAY BASKETBALL PLAY:

Goddard defeated the Alamogordo Girls Basketball Team 56-42 at the City of Champions Classic in Artesia.

Jacqueline Vera led the Lady Tigers with 11 points, 

Abby Vasquez had 10 and Destiny Montoya with 8. Alamogordo dropped to 1-3 after the Goddard defeat.

 Carlsbad defeated the Alamogordo Tiger Boys 41 to 34 at the City of Champions Classic in Artesia on Friday. Tre Sanders led the Tigers with 13 points,

Deonta Bynum and Amaryon Bynum each had 6 points. The Tigers Boys Basketball fell to 0-4 after the Carlsbad game.

Hatch Valley defeated Tularosa 37-30 at the Red or Green Invitational at Hatch Valley.

Haylee Hill led the Lady Cats with 11 points,

Megan Hooten with 8 and Nevaeh Apachito had 7. 

Tularosa defeated Hatch Valley 62-20 at the Rio Grande Shootout in T or C. 

‪Travis Henderson led the Wildcats with 16 points and Jordan Walker with 13.

The ‬Wildcat Boys record was 2-0 after Friday's play.

Cliff defeats Cloudcroft Boys 40 to 38 at the Cliff Round-Up Tournament.

Cloudcroft defeated San Simon (AZ) 59-25 at the Cliff Round-Up Tournament. 

Isaiah Ortega led the Bears with 26 points and Chase Alvord had 17.

The Bears moved to 1 and 1 after Friday's play.
