Alamogordo, NM – April 27, 2026 – The Mescalero Apache golf teams competed Friday at the Dexter Shoot Out, held at the New Mexico Military Institute (NMMI) Golf Course.
Boys Individual Results:
• Deacon Martinez – Tied for 14th (89)
• Levi Apachito – Tied for 16th (90)
• Noah Apachito – 27th (110)
Girls Individual Results:
• K-Rae Chino – Tied for 4th (100)
• Darlene Valdez – 20th (129)
K-Rae Chino posted the strongest performance of the day for Mescalero Apache, finishing in a tie for fourth place in the girls division.
The Mescalero Apache teams are back in action today, Monday, April 27, competing in the Great 8 Tournament at The Links Golf Course in Ruidoso.

My family has been fishing and hiking around Bonito lake for well over 60 years we were very saddened when It was closed after the little bear fire but very happy when it opened. It should never be closed to recreational fishing and camping.
