Alamogordo, NM – March 25, 2026 – Congratulations are pouring in for Hailey Evans, a talented senior from Alamogordo High School, who has officially signed her National Letter of Intent to continue her softball career at the University of the Southwest in Hobbs, New Mexico.
Hailey, a key member of the Alamogordo Lady Tigers Fastpitch team, has excelled both on the diamond and in the weight room. In addition to her strong performance in softball, she competes in powerlifting for AHS, showcasing her dedication, strength, and versatility as a student-athlete.
The signing marks a proud milestone for Evans, her family, coaches, and the entire Lady Tigers program. Known for her hard work and competitive spirit, Hailey has represented Alamogordo with excellence throughout her high school career.
“Way to go, Hailey!” has become the rallying cry from local fans and supporters across social media and the community. Her commitment to the University of the Southwest continues a strong tradition of Alamogordo athletes moving on to collegiate competition.
The University of the Southwest Mustangs compete in the NAIA and offer student-athletes the opportunity to balance academics with competitive athletics in a supportive environment.
