Alamogordo Boys Claim Victory, Girls Secure Second Place at Rolla Buck White Sands Invitational

Alamogordo, NM – The Alamogordo High School track and field teams delivered a strong performance at Friday’s Rolla Buck White Sands Invitational, hosted at the Alamogordo HS Track. The Tigers boys team captured first place overall, while the girls team finished a close second. Local rival Tularosa also competed, with the girls placing seventh and the boys tying for 12th.

The meet showcased impressive individual and relay efforts from Alamogordo athletes, highlighting depth in sprints, jumps, hurdles, and distance events. Several performers achieved standout results, contributing to the team’s success and earning state qualifying marks in key events.

The girls team demonstrated strength across multiple events, winning the 4x400 relay and securing top finishes in sprints and field events.
