Alamogordo, NM – Like many families and businesses across Otero County this winter, our team at 2nd Life Media has been hit hard by the flu. Multiple staff members have been sidelined this week, slowing our normal news production and delaying several stories we had planned to deliver.
We are grateful to report that everyone is fully medicated and we expect to be back at full strength by Wednesday.
To keep our commitment to voters ahead of the upcoming election, we will roll out our special multi-part series on the District 5 County Commission candidates on Wednesday, February 18.
The series will feature in-depth profiles, candidate responses to key local issues, and exclusive interviews — all designed to help Alamogordo and Otero County residents make informed choices at the ballot box.
This Wednesday release is timed perfectly to give voters a full day to review the coverage before the District 5 Candidates Forum & Meet-and-Greet, scheduled for Thursday, February 19 at 6:00 p.m. at Dudley School.
We encourage everyone to attend the forum in person, ask questions, and meet the candidates face-to-face. Light refreshments will be provided, and the event is open to the public.
Thank you for your patience during this short disruption. Our small but dedicated team is committed to delivering the local news and information you rely on — even when the flu tries to slow us down.
Stay healthy, Alamogordo, and we’ll see you on the radio, online, and at Dudley School this week!
