A 43-year-old Alamogordo man has been arrested after allegedly assaulting his elderly parents in a violent incident that left his 90-year-old father hospitalized with severe injuries.
According to the Alamogordo Police Department (APD), officers responded at approximately 8:24 a.m. on November 17 to a call from an 80-year-old woman in the 1400 block of Juniper Drive. The woman reported that her son had attacked her and was actively assaulting her husband.
When officers arrived, the woman directed them to her residence in the 1500 block of Park Avenue, where the incident had occurred. Police found her husband lying in the roadway with serious injuries. Both victims were transported by AMR paramedics to a local hospital for treatment.
The suspect, identified as Kendall Redfearn, 43, was taken into custody at the scene. APD detectives processed the location and assumed responsibility for the ongoing investigation.
Redfearn has been charged with:
Two counts of Attempt to Commit a Felony: Second-Degree Murder, or in the alternative Battery Against a Household Member
One count of Criminal Damage to the Property of a Household Member
He was booked into the Otero County Detention Center pending an initial court appearance.
APD officials emphasized that the investigation remains active and further details may be released as the case proceeds.
PNM should give money back to all those they severely overcharged instead of making customers find a way to make payments for PNM's mistakes.

One correction is needed in the “New America” story: Ron deSantis is the governor of Florida, Greg Abbott is the Texas governor.
To improve Alamogordo, let's revert to the founding principles - only landowners should vote. Carpetbaggers like this ******* should go back to the plantation in Mississippi.
Wow! You can tell this dude’s mouth was open while he was being born. Just think about it for a moment…
Naw. He's right. We're the ones with skin in the game. Boonies ain't right with the world. They've proven it.
