Volleyball Highlights for Alamogordo and Cloudcroft this past week.
The Alamogordo Lady Tigers delivered a dominant performance at home, sweeping Deming in straight sets (25-20, 25-14, 25-14) to improve their season record to 6-7. The team showed strong cohesion and aggressive net play, setting the tone early and never letting up. They’ll look to carry that momentum into Tuesday’s matchup against Centennial.
Meanwhile, the Tularosa Lady Cats faced a tough challenge on the road, falling to Santa Teresa in four sets (25-9, 17-25, 25-17, 25-17). Despite a strong second-set comeback, the Cats couldn’t sustain the rhythm, dropping to 9-5 on the season. They’ll regroup before heading to Cloudcroft next Thursday.
