Base investigators at Holloman AFB confirmed that there is still no luck in finding  an Alamogordo Airman that has gone missing for over 10 days. Isaiah Morningstar, a U.S. airman at Holloman Air Force Base, has been missing since July 19. On July 22, Sara Benson, Isaiah’s mother, received a phone call from Holloman after he did not show up for work.

“Him not showing up to work was so out of character, because he’s never late to work,” Benson has told press and the OIS investigators.

Morningstar was last seen July 19 at Staples and then Circle K, where he spent $21 on gas according to reports

The investigative trail then shows that he went back to his house and then disappeared a few hours later. It has been confirmed that he has not flown anywhere and is likely in the area. Only Morningstar and his car are missing, said Noah Morningstar, Isaiah’s uncle.

Benson flew out to Alamogordo from Washington on Sunday to help look for her son. She posted several pictures of her and Morningstar on her Facebook page, including a photo of the pair visiting White Sands National Park.

Morningstar’s family has no idea as to his whereabouts. Benson noted that he loves exploring the area and often hikes in Cloudcroft and Ruidoso.

Benson has been driving around town and talking to locals in attempts to find her son. She noted that other family members will also be flying out to help with the search.

“I’m not doing good; I haven’t eaten since I found out. I can’t sleep,” she said. “If I do eat, I throw up.”

Noah Morningstar, who lives in Nevada, has been taking off work to search for Isaiah, but was recently fired from his job.

“It’s been very stressful and mentally draining,” he said.

Isaiah Morningstar is 28, Hispanic, has hazel eyes, is bald and is 5-foot-10. He drives a 2017 Buick Regal Sport Touring, and his license plate number is AXPA50. He works as a non-destructive inspection specialist at Holloman.

If you have any information about his whereabouts, please contact the Alamogordo police at 575-439-4300 or the Air Force Office of Special Investigations 1-877-246-1453.
