White Mountain Task Force Arrests...

A Narcotics investigation at the Suburban Inn nets bust. On Wednesday, July 23, 2025, agents with the White Mountain Task Force, with assistance from officers of the Alamogordo Police Department and deputies from the Otero County Sheriff’s Office, executed a narcotics investigation at the Suburban Inn. The operation resulted in five arrests and the seizure of significant quantities of illegal drugs, cash, and a firearm.

During the investigation, agents recovered the following:

• $836 in cash

• 314.83 grams of methamphetamine

• 7.73 grams of cocaine

• 3.20 grams of heroin

• A variety of narcotic pills

• Digital scales

• One handgun

The successful operation was the result of ongoing collaboration between local law enforcement agencies in their commitment to combat drug activity and ensure community safety.

The White Mountain Task Force is a specialized narcotics unit comprised of officers from the Alamogordo Police Department, the Otero County Sheriff's Office, New Mexico, Ruidoso Police Department, US Border Patrol El Paso Sector, and the Lincoln County Sheriff's Office. The Task Force is dedicated to identifying, investigating, and dismantling drug trafficking operations in the region.
