For the second year in a row a Southern New Mexico school brings home the state volleyball championship banner. The Las Cruces High School Volleyball girls successfully brought hond their second consecutive state title on Saturday, Nov. 16 at the NMAA's 5A State Volleyball Championship Tournament.
The No.1 ranked Bulldawgs faced the No. 3 ranked La Cueva High School Bears in the state finals. The Bulldawgs swept La Cueva High School at the Rio Rancho hosted event 3-0 (25-14, 25-23, 25-11) to win the 2024 title.
The Las Cruces High School Volleyball team ended their year with a 27-0 season. The Bulldawgs also won the state title back in 2023.

The 2024 Rudy’s Real Texas Bar-B-Q State Volleyball Championships winner in Class 4A was St. Pius X 3 (25-16, 25-10, 25-11) over Artesia 0. It’s back to back state titles for St. Pius X as well.

The 2024 Rudy's Real Texas Bar-B-Q State Volleyball Championships Class 3A championship winner is St. Michael's 3 (25-18, 25-9, 25-18) over Cobre 0.
